This detail accessory set contains an assembly of individual plastic track links from which, once assembled, a workable track run is made for a model of the Soviet and Russian T-80 main battle tank in 1:35 scale. It is not the tank model itself.
The T-80 is a Soviet main battle tank introduced at the end of the 1970s and remarkable for its gas turbine power. It carries a 125 mm smoothbore gun and is one of the most widespread armored vehicles of its generation. Faithful, slightly sagging tracks raise the realism of a model considerably.
Separate the links from the sprues, clean up the flash and assemble them around the drive sprocket, the idler wheel and the road wheels. The workable rendering allows a natural sag of the upper run. Glue with cement for plastic and, once painted, bring out the detail with washes and apply dust pigments.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
