An add-on detail set, not a standalone model. It holds an accurately turned metal barrel of the Japanese 37 mm Type 94 gun in 1:35 scale. The metal part replaces the plastic barrel of the base kit, is straight, on axis and with a cleanly worked muzzle, with no need to clean up a gap.
The Type 94 was a Japanese 37 mm gun of the period of the Second World War, used both in the anti-tank role and as the armament of light armored vehicles of the imperial army. Its short barrel is a prominent detail of a model, which the metal execution captures more accurately than a split plastic molding.
Deburr and degrease the barrel, and roughen the surface to be glued slightly as needed. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, lay on a primer suitable for metal. Match the shade of the barrel with the gun or the vehicle, so that the part does not stand out from the whole.
