BT-7/T-26 night fighting searchlights 1:35 from E.T. Model is a fine photo-etched metal detail set. It replaces the combat searchlights on models of the Soviet BT-7 and T-26 light tanks. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from E.T. Model adds a pair of special night fighting searchlights to models of the Soviet BT-7 and T-26 tanks, including fine photo-etched brackets and covers. The set does not hold a whole model; it is a metal accessory intended to raise the fidelity of a vehicle that is already built.
Combat searchlights mounted above the gun made it possible to light the target when firing at night, and they are a conspicuous item on some Soviet prewar and early wartime tanks. The fine photo-etched parts offer a thinner and more realistic form than injection-molded plastic allows.
Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge or in a bender; they are glued with cyanoacrylate. We recommend degreasing the metal before painting and applying a primer, so that the paint adheres well. The position of the searchlights follows the documentation for the base model.
This is an aftermarket accessory, not a model of the tank. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
