This is a photo-etched (PE) brass detail set, not a model of a ship. The set serves to finish the 20mm Oerlikon anti-aircraft cannons in the single-barrel form on plastic models of warships of the Second World War in 1:350 scale.
The 20mm Oerlikon was a light anti-aircraft cannon of the Second World War, widespread with a number of Allied navies. It was mounted on decks and superstructures and formed the backbone of the close-in air defense of ships.
Separate the fine etched parts carefully and assemble them according to the instructions; make the small bends in a photo-etch bender. Glue with thin super glue (cyanoacrylate); apply a primer to the metal before painting.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. A matching base kit is needed for the build; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
