Flyhawk USN 406 mm metal gun barrels 1:350 (9 pcs) are turned replacement barrels for the main armament of models of American battleships of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for modelers, not a model in its own right. The set holds nine precisely turned metal barrels of 406 mm (16 inch) caliber for the main guns of American battleships. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from a kit and bring a perfectly straight shape, a symmetrical muzzle and fine detail with no parting seams.
Sixteen-inch guns made up the main armament of American battleships in the Second World War. Nine barrels match the usual arrangement of three gun turrets with three barrels each.
Separate the barrels carefully, clean off any flash and degrease them. Spray the metal with a primer for metal first and glue with super glue. The accurate muzzles stand out even after washes and naval weathering have been applied.
These are replacement parts, not a kit in their own right. The base ship model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
