A resin figure of an Italian tank crewman of the Second World War period, conceived to go with the Semovente da 75/18 self-propelled gun on the M40 chassis. The polyurethane resin casting captures the period uniform and helmet of Italian armored units. The figure brings dioramas and display-case scenes with Italian hardware to life and is supplied as a kit of several parts.
The Semovente da 75/18 was an Italian self-propelled gun on a medium tank chassis, used in North Africa and on other fronts. The crews wore characteristic overalls and helmets. A tank crewman figure helps to set the vehicle in scale and to add a human element beside the hardware.
Wash the mold release agent off the small parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and sand the parting lines down with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a thin primer; Italian overalls come out best in sand and khaki shades with shading in the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
