This set is NOT an airplane model but a pair of 3D printed resin figures in 1:48 scale. It captures a pilot and a ground crewman in a standing position (the scene 1 variant) and serves to bring dioramas and scenes around a model of the A-10A Thunderbolt II attack aircraft to life.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American attack aircraft for close air support, famous for its massive rotary cannon and its tough airframe. The A-10A version is the original single-seat form. The pilot wears flight gear, the ground crewman work overalls. The figures round out a scene on the airfield or beside the machine.
Wash the resin figures free of print resin residue, cut the print supports off carefully and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Apply primer and paint the figures with a brush; tell the pilot's flight gear apart from the crewman's work clothing and finish the faces with layering.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
