About product

Eduard 1:48 B-57B/G landing flaps

A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, aimed at the landing flaps of the American bomber and ground attack aircraft Martin B-57 Canberra in the B and G versions. The set replaces the solid plastic flaps with a fine metal structure, so that they can be shown lowered with a realistic inner structure.

What the set offers

  • Faithful photo-etched landing flaps with a fine inner structure.
  • The option of showing the flaps in the open (lowered) position.
  • A metal rendering beyond the reach of a plastic mold.

Usage tips

The flaps are cut from the fret, bent and assembled along the etched lines and glued with cyanoacrylate. They call for precise shaping and patience; once assembled, they are painted together with the model. We recommend tweezers and a bending aid.

Who the set is for

  • Advanced aircraft modelers who want faithful wing detail.
  • Collectors of American Cold War aircraft.
  • Builders who want to present the model with the flaps lowered.

The accessory comes unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
