Turned metal barrels for the .30 caliber Browning M-1919 A4 machine guns in 1:48 scale from Aber. An accurate metal replacement for the plastic barrels on models with American machine guns.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels in 1:48 scale from the Polish company Aber. It is not a model but a fine accessory replacing the plastic machine gun barrels. The metal version faithfully captures the perforated barrel cooling jacket, which in plastic comes out coarse or completely solid.
The Browning M1919 A4 was an American air-cooled machine gun of .30 caliber (7.62 mm), used on a massive scale in the Second World War both as an infantry weapon and as a coaxial or hull machine gun on armored vehicles and jeeps.
Cut off the plastic barrels and replace them with the metal ones, fixing them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Hold the small parts with tweezers, degrease the metal before gluing and paint it a dark metallic shade. These are very small components that call for fine work.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
