British fighter seatbelts in 1:32 scale, the middle period of the Second World War from Quinta Studio. Straps on decal paper completed with metal buckles, suitable according to the name for any kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set captures the seat harness of British fighter aircraft from the middle period of the Second World War. The straps are printed in color on decal paper, and the maker encloses metal buckles according to the name. The accessory is listed as universal, so it is not tied to one particular kit.
An open cockpit is the first place a viewer looks, and a bare seat gives it away at once as unfinished. Straps thrown over it, by contrast, give the space depth and the right sense of scale. British machines of the middle phase of the war used a different harness from the aircraft of the beginning of the conflict, and that is why the sets are divided by period. For a builder of a Spitfire, a Hurricane or a Typhoon it is the simplest way of turning an empty tub into a habitable cockpit.
Lift the strap off the sheet after a brief soak and transfer it into place with a wet brush. While it is still damp it can be bent over the edge of the seat and shaped into a natural sag. The metal buckles are threaded on only at the end, once the straps are holding. We recommend spraying the finished whole with matte varnish, so that the sheen of the paper does not distract.
The product is an accessory for building a model, not a finished seat or cockpit.
