This resin accessory contains four 3D printed Browning .30 AN/M2 aircraft machine guns in the fixed form for 1:48 scale. Thanks to 3D printing technology the barrels, the cooling jackets and the bodies of the weapon are captured with fine details that plastic parts from kits usually do not reach. The package is universal and serves to replace or to supplement the onboard armament of a model.
The Browning AN/M2 of .30 caliber (7.62 mm) was the standard aircraft machine gun of the American armed forces during the Second World War. In the fixed form it was mounted in the wings or the fuselage of fighters and of further aircraft as offensive armament firing in the direction of flight.
Wash the parts of any uncured resin residue and separate them from the print supports. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You will create the metallic look of the weapon with a dark base with a hint of steel or graphite; drybrushing will bring out the fine edges. Do any sanding with your airways protected.
This is an accessory for advanced modelers. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
