Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Furball Aero-Design. Note: it is not an aircraft kit but a decal set from the series devoted to the colors and markings of the F-14 Tomcat fighters of the US Navy. The set offers markings for several different machines and units, usually supplemented by technical lettering (stencils). The decals suit the commonly available plastic F-14 models in 1:48 scale. The exact list of machines and units in this part of the series is given in the manufacturer's catalog.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was a two-seat supersonic fighter of the US Navy with a variable-geometry wing, flown from aircraft carriers. Its machines carried the striking and colorful markings of the individual squadrons, popular with modelers. This set lets you build particular machines with a faithful finish; the aircraft model itself and the paints have to be bought separately. Quality printing gives depth and exact registration.
Coat the area under the decals with gloss clear. Soak the decal briefly, slide it off the backing into place and blot the excess water away. Use a decal softener to make it cling to the panel lines and the rivets; apply the small technical stencils patiently one at a time. Finally go over the model with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat to suit the look you want.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The aircraft model, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
