A cast resin ejection seat intended as a detailed replacement for the cockpit of a model of the British Fairey Delta 2 aircraft. A resin casting offers fine molded detail of the harness, the levers and the upholstery, which plastic usually lacks, and it markedly lifts the look of an open cockpit. This is an accessory for models of this type, not a kit.
The Fairey Delta 2 was a British experimental delta-wing aircraft which in 1956 became the first machine to exceed a speed of 1000 miles per hour. It served for research into flight at high speeds.
Wash the mold release agent off the seat, cut the casting block off the underside and clean it up. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). It comes into its own once painted with the detail and the harness suitably picked out.
The paints, glue and model are not included in the package.
