A 3D printed antenna of the German FuG 16 ZY radio system in 1:48 scale from the brand 3DF. A fine detail accessory for German fighters, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a 3D printed antenna of the German airborne radio and control system FuG 16 ZY in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a small detail accessory that replaces a coarsely molded plastic antenna with a fine, crisp part. The manufacturer is the brand 3DF.
The FuG 16 ZY was an airborne high-frequency radio set of the German fighter force of the Second World War, serving both for communication and for the ground control of fighters. It was complemented by the characteristic Morane-type antenna, carried among others by the later versions of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G and the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A and later. The small antenna is a detail that easily gives careless work away on a model, which is why it pays to replace it with a crisp printed part of the correct geometry.
Separate the part carefully from the print supports and clean it up. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); take care that it sits vertically and symmetrically. Protect your airways when sanding resin. The antenna is usually matched to the color of the machine's undersurface.
This is an accessory detail set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
