An injection-molded plastic set of garage workshop equipment in 1:48 scale from MiniArt. It is not a vehicle model but a diorama accessory: a collection of workshop furniture and tools with which you can equip a workshop or a garage around the main model. Workshop equipment creates a believable working environment around a model of a car, a motorcycle, a tank or an aircraft: workbenches, shelves, tools and small props give the scene life and a sense of scale. In the smaller 1:48 scale this type of accessory is among the rarer ones, because most diorama sets are made in 1:35.
Cut the parts away carefully and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, and the fine parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the furniture and the tools with a base color and bring them to life with a wash and dry-brushing. Tone the wood with oils and lift the metal edges with a rub of graphite; a light patina of rust, oil and dust applied with pigments looks realistic.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the main model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
