Star Decals 1:48 Indochine, part 2 — French M8 75mm HMC is a sheet of wet decals with the markings of the M8 self-propelled howitzers of the French army in Indochina.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-lifted (wet) decals in 1:48 scale from the maker Star Decals. It contains markings for the M8 75mm HMC self-propelled howitzers in the armament of the French army during the war in Indochina. It is a separate decal sheet, not a kit — it serves for finishing off a completed model of the M8 HMC at this smaller scale.
The M8 75mm Howitzer Motor Carriage was an American self-propelled howitzer built on the chassis of the Stuart light tank, armed with a 75mm howitzer in an open turret. It served for direct fire support. The French units used these machines in Indochina, where they carried the unit and tactical markings captured on this sheet.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface provided with a gloss varnish, so that silvering does not occur under the film. At 1:48 scale work carefully: after sliding them off the soaked paper, use a softener and a setting solution, so that the small decals settle over edges and details as well. Finally go over the area with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a decal sheet only. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
