A resin, 3D-printed detail set rendering an open exhaust nozzle for a model of the Japanese F-2 fighter in 1:48 scale. The replacement nozzle in the open position faithfully replaces the simplified part from the kit and raises the realism of the tail of this single-engine machine.
The Mitsubishi F-2 is a Japanese single-engine multirole fighter operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). In design it derives from the F-16, but it is larger and adapted to Japanese requirements. The shape of the nozzle petals changes with the engine setting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
