A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German airmen and Luftwaffe command staff in 1:48 scale from MiniArt. It is not an aircraft model but a group of figures to bring aviation scenes to life - pilots in flying overalls and officers of the command staff in more relaxed and in working poses, in conversation, planning or resting at an airfield. The figures come on several small sprues, and some of them have separate hands for a more faithful posture. The illustration and the data on the package state the number of figures.
The figures serve to populate dioramas and Luftwaffe air bases of the Second World War. They complement a parked or taxiing aircraft in 1:48 scale, add scale and a story to the scene and turn a static model into a living picture of a field airfield - a briefing before takeoff, a check of the machine or a commander's conversation with a crew.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
