A resin replacement Martin-Baker Mk.2 ejection seat in 1:48 scale, intended for the model of the Gloster Meteor F.8 jet fighter from Airfix. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory, a part that replaces the simplified plastic seat from the box in the cockpit. This version is supplied with the seat belts included, so it is a complete, finished solution. The accessory comes from the Czech brand Art Scale (ASK).
In the open glazed cockpit of a fighter the seat is the most conspicuous thing of all. The plastic seat from the kit tends to be coarse and simplified in shape, whereas the resin casting has crisp detail, the correct shape, the handles and the mechanism. The cockpit immediately looks realistic as a result, and it is the most noticeable upgrade for a model with a glazed cockpit.
This is the version with belts: the seat belts are included, they add realism to the cockpit and you do not have to deal with them separately. If you already have belts of your own (from another set) or do not want them, the same seat is also made in a version without belts. Check which variant you need beforehand, so that no belts are missing.
