1:48 McDonnell F-15B Candy Cane Eagles Part 2 is a set of Two Bobs waterslide decals for models of the two-seat F-15B in a striking scheme in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:48 scale, devoted to two-seat Eagles of the F-15B version in the conspicuous Candy Cane finish. As the second part of the collection it offers further machines and markings following on from the first part. These are add-on decals for completing a model, not a kit.
The F-15B is the two-seat combat-capable training version of the McDonnell Douglas (today Boeing) F-15 Eagle air superiority fighter. It keeps the performance of the single-seat F-15A, and the second seat serves for training. The nickname Candy Cane refers to the prominent striped markings recalling a candy cane, with which selected machines were fitted out. Verify the particular units and registrations against the instructions in the set.
Finish the model in its base shade and clear coat it with gloss, so that the prominent bands adhere perfectly. Slide the decals onto their places after soaking in lukewarm water, align them carefully and blot the water away. On long bands and transitions across engraved lines, use a decal softener and a decal fixer, and finally unify everything with a protective clear coat.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
