Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat training and combat version of the Soviet MiG-29UB fighter in 1:48 scale. The set from Hobby 2000 is based on the Academy plastic molds, to which it adds Cartograf decals, masks and marking options for machines of the Czech and Slovak air forces. It is therefore a rebox of proven plastic completed with good accessories and new schemes.
The MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) is a Soviet twin-engined frontline fighter. The UB version (Fulcrum-B) is the two-seat trainer variant with two seats in tandem and a modified cockpit canopy, intended for training pilots. It lacks the radar of the combat versions but retains the flying qualities and part of the armament. MiG-29s served with the Czechoslovak and, after the country split, with both the Czech and the Slovak Air Force.
Glue the parts with a thin plastic cement and apply a primer before painting. Mask the glazing of the long canopy with the masks supplied and spray with an airbrush. Gray camouflage schemes are typical of Czechoslovak, Czech and Slovak MiGs; apply the markings using the good Cartograf decals. The landing gear bays and the drop tanks are refined according to the instructions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
