It is not a stand-alone helicopter model, but an accessory (aftermarket set) that replaces the wheel bays (landing gear bays) and landing gear parts with more accurate, finely detailed pieces. The set is made using modern technology (resin / 3D printing) with sharp detail that injection-molded plastic cannot achieve. It requires a separate base Mi-24 plastic model in the matching scale to use.
The Mil Mi-24 (NATO codename Hind) is a heavy attack helicopter of Soviet/Russian design, unique in combining the role of an attack aircraft with the ability to carry a small squad of troops. The landing gear bays and the retractable landing gear itself are elements often seen up close on a finished model — that is why refining them noticeably raises the realism.
First wash the resin / 3D-printed parts free of print resin residue, carefully cut away the casting blocks and supports, sand the surfaces, and glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Protect your airway when sanding. We recommend a dry-fit test before gluing the parts into the model.
This is an accessory for advanced upgrading; a separate base Mi-24 helicopter model in 1:48 scale is required for use and is not included in the package.
