Mil Mi-24V/VP Engine Efflux Screen (EES) system is a resin set of screens for deflecting the engine exhaust in 1:48 scale from Reskit for models of the Mi-24 attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an add-on detail set, not a helicopter model. The EES (Engine Efflux Screen) system consists of mesh covers fitted at the engine outlets that disperse and deflect the hot exhaust gases and so reduce the thermal signature of the machine. The set from Reskit contains resin, or possibly 3D-printed, parts for the Mil Mi-24V/VP attack helicopter in 1:48 scale.
The Mi-24, NATO reporting name Hind, is a Soviet attack helicopter that combines firepower with the ability to carry a squad of troops. The V and VP versions are among the widespread variants. The mesh covers over the engine exhaust were fitted as protection against infrared-guided missiles; rendering them faithfully is a striking detail on a model.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks, then bond with super glue. Bring out the fine structure of the screens with a dark wash and drybrushing; metal surfaces scorched by heat can be suggested with heat-stained shades.
An add-on set. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
