This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the publisher Kagero, well known to modelers at home and abroad. It is not a kit or an aircraft model, but an accessory for decorating and marking a finished kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero carrier fighter in the Model 21 version. A masking film for spraying the national insignia and the cockpit glazing is included.
The A6M Zero was the best-known Japanese fighter of the Second World War. The Model 21 version with folding wingtips was deployed from the attack on Pearl Harbor and dominated the early fighting in the Pacific thanks to its great range and excellent agility.
Apply the decals over a gloss, smoothly varnished surface so that no silvering appears at the edges. Cut out an individual motif, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it into position, then soak up the surplus water. We recommend a decal softener and setting solution and a final coat of varnish.
The set contains decals and a masking film only; the kit, paints and glue are not included.
