Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero carrier fighter in 1:48 scale from Tamiya. The model allows either the A6M3 or the A6M3a variant to be built and is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted. Photo-etched parts for representing the folding wingtips are included.
The Zero, given the Allied code name Zeke, was the main Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War, famous for its long range and its agility. The Model 32 received the Sakae 21 engine and shortened wingtips, which raised its speed but cut its range. The following Model 22 restored the longer wing with folding tips and added wing fuel tanks, which gave the aircraft back both its range and its maneuverability.
Finish the cockpit and the pilot figures before you close up the fuselage. Use thin cement on the plastic and glue the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Spray the surface with a base coat and lay the colors on with an airbrush; unify the gloss with a clear coat before the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
