This one-piece resin figure represents an American naval fighter pilot of the Second World War period in period flying equipment: a flight suit, a life vest and a leather helmet with goggles. The casting is finely worked out and serves to liven up a build and a diorama scene in 1:48 scale; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A carrier fighter pilot of the US Navy from the beginning of the war in the Pacific wore the characteristic canvas flight suit, the inflatable Mae West life vest and a leather helmet. The figure rounds out the scale beside a standing model splendidly, as well as a scene on the deck of an aircraft carrier or at a Pacific airfield.
Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting block, sand the area and protect your airways. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After the primer, paint the flight suit and the vest by layering; bring the leather to life with fine oil glazes and a dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
