A model of the Polish single-seat firefighting and agricultural aircraft PZL M18B Dromader in the colors of the Greek fire service, 1:48 scale, from the Polish maker IBG models. An unconventional civil subject for a collection. According to the manufacturer the package contains etched parts, masks and Greek markings. A kit to be glued and painted.
The PZL M18 Dromader is a Polish low-wing aircraft developed in the 1970s (with a contribution from Rockwell) for crop spraying and aerial firefighting. It has a large chemical and water tank ahead of the cockpit and a rugged radial engine. The single-seat M18B machines were operated among others by the Greek Air Force for fighting forest fires.
We recommend building the model in sub-assemblies and dry-fitting the parts before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and accent them with a wash if you like before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a good liquid cement for plastic, fine files and an airbrush after the base coat (primer). Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a flat one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
