This figure set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ResKit holds three 3D-printed resin figures of deck ordnance crew members in modern dress and one AERO 21A (MHU-191A/M) ordnance transport trolley adapted for bombs of the Mk.82 family. The set brings a scene on the deck of an aircraft carrier to life and gives a model a sense of scale and of action.
On the decks of American aircraft carriers the crew members in red jerseys are the ordnance handlers, who move the munitions and look after the bomb and rocket armament. The low wheeled AERO 21A trolley serves to move bombs to the aircraft and hang them on the pylons.
Wash the figures free of release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Paint in layers, starting with the skin and the red jerseys, then add the shadows and the highlights. Bring out the trolley with chipping and a light dusting for a sense of use.
