An airman for the F-105 in 1:48, the second standing position brings a different turn of the body than the variant with the lower sequential number.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second position from the range of standing airmen for the Thunderchief. The figure has a different turn of the torso and the arms than the type 1 variant, so the two can be stood side by side without repeating the same gesture. It will come into its own beside a model on the apron, at the steps or in conversation with the ground personnel.
The F-105F and F-105G versions came about as two-seaters, and the last of them received equipment for locating the radars of an air defense network. The crews of these machines flew exceptionally dangerous missions and their stories are among the strongest of the whole conflict. The single-seat F-105D meanwhile remained the backbone of the strike wings and took the largest share of the combat losses, which left its mark on how quickly the type vanished from service.
With small figures, contrast decides more than the accuracy of the shade. Choose a base a step lighter than reality would call for and add the depth only with a glaze in the folds. Paint the face last and work with a fine brush, suggesting the eyes only. A unifying overcoat will then hide the transitions between the coats. When the figure is to stand close to the viewer, it pays to add a gentle highlight on the cheekbones and the nose.
Obtain the airframe of the aircraft separately; this is a figure alone.
