A resin and 3D-printed detailing set of the main rotor of the Sea King helicopter in the folded position in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian brand Reskit. It replaces the rotor from the base kit with a finely rendered 3D-printed assembly with faithful linkages and control runs. It is intended for the Sea King kit from Airfix and is not in itself a model of the helicopter.
The Sea King was a multi-role helicopter used above all for anti-submarine warfare and for search and rescue duties. On the decks of ships the blades of the main rotor were folded so that the machine took up less room. The set captures exactly this folded state, ideal for a deck scene or a diorama.
Wash the parts, cut off the blocks and clean them up with your airways protected. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fit the fine control runs and rods carefully; apply a base coat before painting.
This is not a stand-alone model. The set serves to upgrade a kit; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
