It is not a kit of an aircraft but replacement detail parts — exactly the kind of small thing that decides whether a finished model looks like a machine or like plastic.
On the wing of the real Jaguar the rod and roller mechanism that drives the landing flaps projects from the trailing edge. It is covered by elongated teardrop-shaped fairings that reduce drag. In injection-molded plastic these shapes tend to be simplified and thick-walled for technical reasons; a resin casting allows sharper edges, a thinner profile and a finer transition into the wing.
For modelers who build the Jaguar in 1:48 scale and want to take the detail of the wing beyond the level of the box. It calls for a steady hand when removing the original parts and basic experience with resin.
