Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks from Peewit intended for painting a plastic model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I fighter in 1:48 scale, in the variant with the earlier type of cockpit canopy. It is not a kit or a finished model — these are painting masks that reliably cover the frames of the cockpit glazing and the areas that are to stay clear while paint is sprayed. The masks are shaped to fit a particular kit of this aircraft in the given scale.
The Supermarine Spitfire was a British single-seat fighter with a characteristic elliptical wing, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. The Mk.I was the first production version, which left a marked mark on the Battle of Britain at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. The earlier type of canopy refers to the earlier shape of the hood with flat sides, of the kind the early examples carried.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
