The Sukhoi Su-2 was a Soviet light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft, one of the first production types from Pavel Sukhoi's design bureau. It originally appeared under the designation BB-1 (short-range bomber) and, after a change of engine, received the designation Su-2. It was used from the start of the fighting on the Eastern Front in 1941; although it was fairly vulnerable, it carried out light bombing and reconnaissance duties.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint and highlight the detailed cockpit interior and the gun position before you close the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy during spraying. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, apply the decals over a gloss coat and bring out the panel lines with a wash. Soviet machines often carried simple camouflage with prominent markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
