The real subject

The T-34/76 is among the best known tanks of the Second World War. This Soviet medium tank made its name through a combination of sloped armor, wide tracks and a powerful 76 mm gun. In the model 1941 it still had a two-man turret, in which the commander also worked the gun. The turrets differed according to the production plant and the period, and it is precisely the variations in their shape that a knowledgeable eye notices first on a finished model.

Building and painting tips

Before gluing, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and degrease them, otherwise the paint may not hold. Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder with fine paper. Use cyanoacrylate glue to fit the parts together, and try the joint dry beforehand.
