A color self-adhesive photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard serves for quick and striking detailing of the interior of a model of the British twin-engined Westland Whirlwind fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory aimed at the cockpit.
It includes pre-painted color self-adhesive photo-etched parts: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the seat belts and other cockpit features. Thanks to the self-adhesive finish, the application is simple and quick, with no gluing needed.
Degrease the surface before sticking the parts on and let the paint dry. Seat the self-adhesive parts exactly in place with tweezers; larger covered areas can be secured at a few points with super glue to be safe. A matte varnish will unify the surface.
This is a modeling accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
