The real subject

The Zetor 25 is a postwar Czechoslovak tractor that went into production in the second half of the 1940s and became for many years a typical machine in the fields there. It was powered by a two-cylinder diesel engine, its design was simple and easy to repair, and that gave the type a long life outside Czechoslovakia as well. The agricultural version is the civilian variant meant for work in the field and for driving attached machinery.

Building and painting tips

Before gluing, wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry; neither glue nor paint holds on a greasy surface. Assemble the model dry so that you know how the main sub-assemblies sit together, and only then glue them. It is sensible to paint the chassis and the engine section before you close them in with the bodywork. The particular sequence, the color scheme and the recommended shades are in the manufacturer's instructions.
