This is a set of 3D-printed resin parts, not a ship kit. It contains miniature Oerlikon antiaircraft cannons of 20 mm caliber on the single-barrel mounting of the MK.IV type, as a number of Allied warships carried them during the Second World War. Thanks to modern 3D printing technology the barrels, the shield and the mounting have very fine detail, which in 1:700 scale markedly surpasses injection-molded plastic parts from ordinary kits.

Use and fitting

• Separate the parts carefully from the printing supports and clean them up.
• Given the small dimensions, work with tweezers and a magnifier.
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• The set serves to replace or complete the antiaircraft armament on models of ships in 1:700 scale.
