This is an accessory for building plastic models in 1:700 scale, not a standalone model. The package holds eight turned metal barrels of 356 mm caliber (14 inches) and L45 length of the Vickers 41 type, that is the main armament of the Japanese fast battleships Kongo, Haruna, Hiei and Kirishima (four twin turrets). It is made by the Polish brand Aber.
The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from the kit. The parting seam and the coarseness of plastic are gone; the muzzle is accurate and on the axis, so the main battery looks faithful and fine.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part of the turret and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
