An accessory for a build, not a kit: a sheet of machine-cut kabuki tape stencils for a model of the Airbus A400M in 1:72 scale. At New Ware the EXPERT designation is the highest level of extent, as the set deals with more areas than the basic and the extended rendering of the same subject.
A wide set makes sense where a model has many small transparent and differently colored areas: besides the main cockpit glazing, on large transport machines these are typically the side windows, small lighting lenses and further details that are hard and inaccurate to mask with hand-cut tape. The exact list of areas the particular sheet covers is not stated here; the contents of the package are what decides.
Lay the stencils down with tweezers onto a degreased and dry surface and press the edges carefully so that no paint creeps under them. Spray first the shade that is to be visible on the frames from inside the cockpit, then the base and finally the outer camouflage. Spray thinly and in several coats; a thick coat leaves a ridge at the edge that gives the transition away once the mask is removed. Remove the masks shortly after the paint has set, slowly and at a sharp angle back over themselves. Protect the glazing before it is glued into the fuselage and do not touch it with your fingers.
