A set of precisely cut masks of masking material meant for masking the cockpit glazing when spraying. The masks follow the glazing frames of the AH-1G Cobra model in 1:72 scale exactly and allow crisp color edges without laborious cutting. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.

The real subject

The Bell AH-1G Cobra was the first helicopter designed from the outset as an attack machine. It became famous in the Vietnam War, where its slim fuselage, armor and heavy armament established the category of attack helicopters that the machines used today follow from.

Use

• Transfer the masks from the sheet and place them exactly on the glazing frames.
• Fill the small areas between the frames with offcuts of masking film or with liquid mask.
• Spray in thin coats so that paint does not run under the edge.
• Remove the masks once the paint has set for a crisp edge.
