Italeri 1:72 Austrian Infantry 1798–1805 is a set of many small plastic figures of Austrian infantry from the start of the Napoleonic Wars, intended for dioramas and wargaming.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a large group of small injection-molded plastic figures of Austrian infantry from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries in 1:72 scale. The box holds roughly 48 figures in dynamic poses. The brand is the Italian company Italeri; the figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set depicts Austrian soldiers from the period of the Italian campaigns and the battles around 1800. The figures wear period uniforms, including the characteristic leather helmet with a brass front plate bearing the imperial eagle; some of them have the 1798 pattern helmet used by light units and by the Jäger riflemen.
Separate the small parts carefully and clean up the mold seams. A primer and painting with good brushes are worthwhile; bring out the uniform details with a fine drybrush and a thin wash. With infantry in these numbers it is practical to paint in larger batches at once.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
