Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight figures in eight poses. The figures are supplied unpainted and molded in one piece. Bavarian infantry is among the less usual elements of Napoleonic formations, and that is exactly why the set goes well with the ordinary French and Austrian units the Bavarians met on the battlefield.
Bavaria was an ally of France from 1805 and its army took part in the campaign against Austria, in the march into Russia and in the fighting of 1813, when it finally went over to the side of the coalition. You will recognize a Bavarian foot soldier by the light blue coat and above all by the Raupenhelm with its caterpillar crest, which has no parallel in Napoleonic Europe. That alone makes the set an unmistakable whole.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Mix the light blue coat with gray so that it does not look toylike. Bring out the caterpillar crest of the helmet with a dark glaze and then drybrush it only lightly; the detail will come forward. Distinguish the facings in groups, because the Bavarian regiments differed precisely in their color.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
