AZ model 1:72 Bf 109G-6 with WGr.21 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter armed with underwing 21 cm rocket tubes.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech manufacturer AZ model capturing the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in the version with the underwing WGr.21 rocket tubes. The package contains plastic parts and a decal sheet with several German color schemes from the Second World War. The model is conceived for a build straight out of the box.
The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread variants of the famous German fighter. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and was often fitted with additional armament against the Allied bomber formations. The Werfer-Granate 21 was derived from the ground 21 cm rocket launcher; two jettisonable tubes under the wings made it possible to fire the rockets into formations of enemy aircraft from a greater distance, though at the cost of degraded maneuverability.
Use liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints as you go. Before painting, fit and paint the cockpit, then apply a primer; an airbrush will make the smooth transitions of the typical German camouflage easier. Paint the small rocket tubes separately and apply the decals over a gloss base so that no silvering edges arise.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
