Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the French twin-engine bomber Bloch MB.210 in 1:72 scale from Azur (Azur-FRROM). It is a short-run model from a newer tooling — kits like this tend to have somewhat heavier sprue gates and they call for more careful cleaning up of the parts than mainstream kits do. The package contains clear glazing parts; the color schemes differ according to the particular boxing (among others, early and wartime machines). Check the exact contents and the number of markings against the particular packaging.
The Bloch MB.210 was a French twin-engine bomber from the middle of the 1930s — a low-wing monoplane with retractable landing gear, which in its day represented a modern concept. By the end of the 1930s it had become obsolete, however, and at the beginning of the Second World War it was no longer a match for faster and better-armed machines. Even so it formed a significant part of the French bomber force and it also served for training and patrol duties.
With a short-run model, first clean the parts of sprue gates and flash and dry-fit them — the joints may call for small adjustments and filling. Finish the cockpit and the glazed positions before closing the fuselage. Mask the glazing. Spray the French camouflage with an airbrush over a primer, and keep the transitions between the shades subtle. Bring out the panel lines with a wash and settle the decals on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories beyond the contents of the package are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
