A set of unpainted plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. The package holds riders on horseback in several poses as well as horses in several stances. The figures are meant to be separated from the sprue, assembled and painted.
The Royal Scots Greys were a regiment of British heavy cavalry. In the Napoleonic wars they formed, together with the Royals and the Inniskillings, the Union Brigade, which took part in the battle of Waterloo in 1815 and whose mounted charge against the French lines is among the most frequently depicted episodes of the campaign. The riders wore characteristic bearskin caps, and the name of the regiment refers to their gray horses.
Separate the figures carefully from the sprue and clean up the parting lines. Cement for plastic suits the gluing, and super glue helps at the rider and horse joints. Apply a primer before painting, work the details with acrylic paints, and a wash will help bring out the folds of the uniforms and the harness.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
