ZTZ100 is the designation of a Chinese main battle tank. In the Chinese designation system the abbreviation ZTZ belongs to tracked tanks, and the number after it distinguishes the individual types. Details of the real machine and of the version the set captures are described in the manufacturer's instructions. It is a contemporary type for which not as many accessories have yet appeared as for older tanks, so the build revolves mainly around the set itself.
In 1:72 scale the model is small and fits into a display case beside aircraft in the same scale. The small size does, however, place higher demands on clean work: excess glue, a thick coat of paint or a roughly sanded joint are more visible on it than on a large model.
The set suits a collector of modern vehicles who builds in a smaller scale, and anyone who wants to add a contemporary type to their display case. The smaller scale also means a shorter build, so it also works as a relaxing model between two more demanding projects. Paints, glue and filler are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
