The crew of an older munitions lift in 1:72 scale: three figures in the dress of the 1960s onward, the second pose solution.
Responsibility details are not available.
Older loading trucks differ from today's in the shape of the chassis and in the way work was done around them, which is why different figures belong with them. These three wear the dress used from the 1960s on and are shaped for a model of the early munitions lift of the MJ-4 series. The designation of the second pose solution means that it differs in arrangement from the first composition offered.
The first generation of hydraulic loading trucks came about at a time when bombs were still largely hung on aircraft by hand. The machine therefore helped the crew rather than replacing the work entirely, and more people moved around it. In a scene from the 1960s and 1970s the presence of three men looks completely natural. Period photographs from bases do, after all, show several people at every truck.
The dress of the figures helps to determine the time of the whole scene. The combination of an early truck and the matching working clothing places a diorama in a particular period better than any label. The viewer takes his bearings from silhouettes, not from text, which is why it pays to choose the dress carefully.
The truck and the munitions are obtained separately. The figures can be completed with further ground hardware of that time, and the scene will only gain by it.
