A resin detail set from the Italian maker Royal Model for 1:72 scale. It contains a large number of small tiles of explosive reactive armor (ERA). It is NOT a model of a vehicle but an accessory intended for superdetailing and reworking models of armored vehicles.
By gluing the individual tiles onto the turret and hull of a model you create faithful armor with reactive blocks of the kind modern tanks carry. The set allows your own layout according to the particular variant of the vehicle and markedly raises both the realism and the visual weight of the model. The large number of parts makes it possible to cover extensive areas and to create damaged spots with blocks blown off.
Separate the tiles from the carrier fret and clean them up. For the arrangement it is a good idea to lay the areas out first and only then glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once a filling primer is on, paint with an airbrush and add washes and pigments. Because of the number of small parts, count on care and patience; protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
