Kelik 1:72 F-4C is a set of decals for a model of the F-4C Phantom II fighter aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory to a kit, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set of decals is intended for models of the two-seat F-4C fighter aircraft in 1:72 scale. It serves to finish the surface of the model and will replace sheets from the box that are coarse, yellowed or damaged. The package contains decals only.
The F-4C is the version of the heavy twin-engined Phantom II fighter adapted for the needs of the US Air Force. From the naval variants it differs above all in the equipment of the cockpits and in modifications arising from operation from ground bases, but the silhouette of the airframe stays unmistakable: two turbojets in the fuselage, dihedral wingtips and markedly anhedral horizontal tail surfaces. The type served in a broad spectrum of tasks from the fighter role to strikes on ground targets, and in modeling practice it is popular also because of the variety of camouflages and markings it carried during its service.
Spray the area intended for the decals with a gloss varnish and let it cure. Matte camouflage has a broken-up surface, air stays in it under the film and the edges silver. Release the decal in lukewarm water, transfer it with a brush and soak the surplus water away from the center toward the edges. Apply a decal softener in thin coats so that the motif settles into the engraved lines. Leave the small technical lettering until the end, as in 1:72 scale it is really tiny and tweezers and good light are worth it. At the end cover everything with a matte or semi-gloss varnish and only then work with a wash and pigments.
This is a separate set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.
