This is not a model of an aircraft but a small resin detail set from Quickboost. The part replaces the simplified pilot's headrest in the cockpit of the early F4U-1 Corsair version, the so-called birdcage with its classic framed canopy, with a more faithful rendering of the type B pattern. 1:72 scale; according to the name the target kit is from Tamiya.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter with its characteristic inverted gull wing. The early F4U-1 versions had a tall canopy extended to the rear, hence the nickname birdcage. The headrest is a prominent feature in the cockpit which comes out on a model once it is swapped for a more faithful part.
Carefully separate the small part from the casting block, wash it free of mold release agent and clean it up. Glue it with a small amount of super glue. It is best to paint the part before setting it into the cockpit.
Intended for a matching plastic F4U-1 kit in 1:72 scale; that kit is not included in the package.
